By using Diamond VPN you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What the service is
Diamond VPN routes your internet traffic through servers we operate, so that the sites you visit see our server's address rather than yours, and so that traffic on the network you are using is encrypted between your phone and our server.
It is a free service with the limits described below. It is provided as-is, with no guarantee of availability, speed, or that any particular site or service will work through it.
Fair use limits
The free service is funded by advertising, and bandwidth costs real money. To keep it available to everyone, each device has limits:

A device is unverified when the app cannot obtain a Google Play integrity attestation — most often on a sideloaded build, a device without Google Play services, or a custom ROM. Those devices still work; they are simply placed on the lower tier because we cannot confirm the app has not been modified.
Passing the daily allowance slows your connection, it does not disconnect you. Allowances reset each day.
We may change these limits. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
What you may not do
You agree not to use Diamond VPN to:
- Share files over BitTorrent or other peer-to-peer protocols. This is blocked on our servers.
- Send bulk or unsolicited email. Outbound mail ports are blocked.
- Scan, probe or attack other systems, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to anything.
- Distribute malware, run phishing, or commit fraud.
- Harass, threaten or endanger anyone.
- Break the law of your country or the country the server is in.
- Resell, rent or share access to the service.
- Circumvent the fair-use limits, use automated tools to obtain connection credentials, or run more devices than you personally use.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the app except where law expressly permits it.
We enforce this. Traffic that trips our abuse protections can have its connection revoked immediately and without notice. Repeated or serious abuse means a permanent block.
Not for high-stakes use
Diamond VPN is a consumer privacy tool. It is not suitable for situations where discovery would put you in danger. We are a small studio, not an anonymity network: we do not offer traffic obfuscation, multi-hop routing, or protection against an adversary who can observe both ends of your connection. If your safety depends on it, use a tool built and audited for that purpose.
Age
You must be at least 13, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf.
Advertising
The service is supported by advertising shown inside the app. You agree not to interfere with, block, or artificially interact with those ads. Advertising is never inserted into your VPN traffic.
Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time, including shutting it down entirely. It is free, and we make no commitment to keep it running. We will give notice where we reasonably can.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, that filtering will catch every malicious site, or that any given site will be reachable through it. Security filtering reduces risk; it does not remove it, and it is not a substitute for keeping your device updated.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Black Diamond Studios is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
Because the service is free, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us (which is zero) or ten US dollars.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, in which case they apply to the maximum extent permitted.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Black Diamond Studios against claims, damages and costs arising from your use of the service or your breach of these terms.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, particularly for a breach of the acceptable-use section above.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maine, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Maine, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Privacy
Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is available in this app and forms part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
Updated terms ship inside app updates, with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
